If you have two small children, then double strollers for infant and toddler use can be a godsend. However, not all strollers are made the same so you need to consider what activities you will be engaging in before you run out and buy a stroller. First and foremost, you want to be sure you can actually fit the stroller in your trunk.  Double strollers are typically quite a bit larger than a single stroller so if you have a small car, this might be a problem.  Also, you want to make sure you can lift the stroller up as they can be rather heavy.
